Electrical safety: Unplug the unit before opening. If you are not comfortable working with mains voltage, seek professional help.

Check outlet: Test the wall socket with another appliance to confirm power is present.
Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, kinks, or burn marks. Replace the cord set if damaged.
Access main PCB: Remove the rear or side cover to reach the power board. Locate the glass or ceramic fuse near the power input.
Test fuse: Use a multimeter to check continuity. If blown, replace with the same type and rating. If it blows again immediately, there is a deeper fault (shorted component) that needs professional diagnosis.
Check power switch: For models with mechanical switches, test continuity when switched on. Replace if faulty.
Replace PCB: If fuse and switch are good but the unit remains dead, the main PCB is likely defective and should be replaced.
