Possible Causes
Humidity above sensor measurement range, Faulty humidity sensor stuck at maximum, Condensation on sensor surface, Sensor wiring fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before opening any covers.
- Ventilate room: Open windows or use an exhaust fan to reduce extreme humidity if present (e.g., after flooding).
- Dry sensor: If the unit has been running in very damp conditions, allow it to sit unplugged for 30–60 minutes to let any condensation on the sensor evaporate.
- Clean sensor: Access the humidity sensor and gently clean dust and moisture as described in previous humidity sensor steps.
- Replace sensor: If HI remains in normal conditions, replace the humidity sensor module with a Klarstein-compatible part.
