Dehumidifier or humidifier display shows HI for humidity and does not regulate properly.

Safety: Unplug the unit before opening any covers.

• Ventilate room: Open windows or use an exhaust fan to reduce extreme humidity if present (e.g., after flooding).
• Dry sensor: If the unit has been running in very damp conditions, allow it to sit unplugged for 30–60 minutes to let any condensation on the sensor evaporate.
• Clean sensor: Access the humidity sensor and gently clean dust and moisture as described in previous humidity sensor steps.
• Replace sensor: If HI remains in normal conditions, replace the humidity sensor module with a Klarstein-compatible part.
