Possible Causes
Room temperature below operating range (typically < 5–10°C), Faulty ambient temperature sensor reading too low, Unit placed near cold window or draft
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No internal repair is required for normal LO operation; it is a protection feature.
- Check room temperature: Verify the ambient temperature with a thermometer. If it is below the minimum specified in the Klarstein manual, move the unit to a warmer room.
- Avoid cold drafts: Do not place the dehumidifier directly next to cold windows, exterior doors, or uninsulated walls where the sensor may read lower than actual room temperature.
- Sensor check: If LO appears even in a warm room (>15°C), inspect the ambient NTC sensor and wiring as described for E1. Replace the sensor if it reads incorrectly.
