Levoit humidifier displays LO humidity and runs continuously without reaching set humidity.

Steps:

• Verify environment: Use a separate hygrometer to confirm actual room humidity. In very dry climates, LO may be accurate.
• Check sensor placement: Ensure the humidifier is not placed in a draft, near a heater, or directly under an air vent which can skew readings.
• Clean sensor: Locate the humidity sensor module near the air outlet or intake. Gently blow away dust or use a soft brush. Do not spray liquids directly on the sensor.
• Inspect connector: Confirm the sensor harness is firmly connected to the main PCB.
• Replace sensor: If readings remain stuck at LO despite normal room humidity, replace the humidity sensor module.
