• Change surface: Place the humidifier on a solid, level surface with a soft pad or mat underneath to reduce resonance.
• Clean fan: Open the housing and clean dust from the fan blades and motor hub. Ensure no wires are touching the blades.
• Tighten screws: Check and tighten all accessible mounting screws for the fan, transducer plate, and housing.
• Check transducer mount: Ensure the ultrasonic transducer plate is firmly secured and its gasket is intact so it does not rattle.
• Replace fan if noisy: If the fan motor itself is noisy or has worn bearings, replace the fan assembly.
