Possible Causes

Damaged or misaligned tank cap seal, Cracked water tank, Worn base gasket around ultrasonic chamber, Overfilling or tilting the unit during operation

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug immediately if water is leaking. Do not operate a leaking appliance.

Steps:

  • Empty and dry: Remove the tank and empty all water. Wipe the base and surrounding area dry.
  • Inspect tank cap and seal: Check the rubber O‑ring or gasket on the tank cap/valve for cracks, flattening, or deformation. Replace if worn.
  • Check tank for cracks: Hold the tank up to a bright light and look for hairline cracks, especially around seams and the bottom valve area. Replace the tank if cracked.
  • Inspect base gasket: Look at the gasket around the ultrasonic chamber or water outlet in the base. If it is brittle, warped, or missing, replace it.
  • Level placement: Ensure the humidifier is on a flat, level surface and not tilted. Do not overfill beyond the indicated max line.
