Possible Causes
Defective power adapter or power cord, Blown internal fuse on main PCB, Failed power supply section on PCB, Broken power button or control panel
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug before opening the unit. If you are not comfortable working around mains voltage, contact a technician.
Steps:
- Verify outlet: Test the outlet with another device.
- Check adapter: For models with external adapters, test the adapter output with a multimeter. Replace if there is no or low output.
- Inspect power cord: For corded models, check for cuts, kinks, or burn marks. Replace the cord set if damaged.
- Open base and check fuse: Many Levoit units have a small fuse on the PCB near the power input. If visibly blown or open (no continuity), replace with the same type and rating.
- Check for board damage: If the fuse blows again immediately or the board shows burn marks, the power supply section is damaged. Replace the main PCB.
- Control panel: If the board has power but the panel is dark, the display/control board may be faulty and should be replaced.
