How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before removing the control panel.
Steps:
- Power reset: Unplug for 10 minutes and reconnect to rule out software lockup.
- Inspect panel: Check for visible cracks or moisture under the keypad overlay.
- Check ribbon cable: Remove the control panel and reseat the ribbon cable or harness connecting it to the main PCB.
- Dry moisture: If condensation is present, dry the area thoroughly and allow 24 hours before retesting.
- Replace keypad PCB: If specific buttons never respond, replace the control panel / keypad PCB.
