Possible Causes
Failed DC fan motor, Obstructed fan, Loose fan connector, Faulty main PCB fan driver
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the humidifier before opening the housing.
Steps:
- Check outlet: Confirm there is truly no airflow; some models have very gentle flow.
- Inspect fan: Open the housing and check the DC fan for dust buildup or foreign objects. Clean as needed.
- Spin test: Rotate the fan by hand to ensure it moves freely.
- Check wiring: Verify the fan connector is secure on the PCB.
- Replace fan: If the fan does not run when powered and wiring is good, replace the DC fan motor.
- PCB fault: If a new fan still does not run, the main control PCB may be defective.
