How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit and allow all ice to melt before servicing.
- Room temperature: Ensure the room is within the recommended operating range. Move to a warmer room if necessary.
- Clean filter and coils: Wash the filter and vacuum the evaporator fins to restore airflow.
- Check fan operation: Confirm the fan runs at normal speed. Replace the fan motor if weak.
- Defrost sensor: Inspect and, if necessary, replace the defrost NTC sensor attached to the evaporator.
- Test after thawing: Once fully thawed and cleaned, restart and monitor for re-freezing. Persistent issues may require PCB replacement.
