Possible Causes
Ambient NTC sensor reading out of range, Sensor not positioned correctly in airflow, Firmware calibration error, Defective ambient temperature sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before opening the housing.
- Check room temperature: Verify the room is within the operating range specified by Medisana (often around 5–35 °C). Move the unit to a suitable environment and try again.
- Inspect ambient sensor: Locate the ambient NTC sensor near the air intake grille. Ensure it is not touching hot components and is exposed to room air.
- Check wiring and connector: Make sure the sensor harness is intact and firmly connected to the PCB.
- Replace sensor: If the sensor is damaged or tests open/short, replace it with the correct ambient NTC sensor for your model.
- Persistent E7: If the sensor is good and E7 remains, the control board firmware or sensor circuit is likely faulty. Replace the main control PCB.
