Possible Causes
Mineral scale buildup on transducer, Low water level not fully covering transducer, Failing power supply to ultrasonic driver, Partially blocked mist outlet or fan
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before cleaning.
- Use demineralized water: Switch to distilled or demineralized water to prevent further scale buildup.
- Descale transducer and basin: Fill the basin with a vinegar-water mix (1:1) to cover the transducer. Let sit 20–30 minutes, then gently wipe away loosened deposits.
- Clean mist outlet: Remove the top cover and clean the mist outlet channel and any directional nozzles with a soft brush.
- Check fan: Ensure the internal fan is running and the air path is not blocked by dust. Clean the fan grille.
- Power supply check: If mist remains weak, the internal power supply or driver circuit may be failing. Replacement of the main PCB or power board may be required.
