Possible Causes

Faulty external power adapter (for low-voltage models), Blown internal fuse, Defective power switch, Failed main control PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug from mains before opening. If you are not comfortable working with mains voltage, seek professional help.

  • Check outlet and adapter: Test the wall outlet with another device. For models with an external adapter, test or replace the adapter with the correct Medisana-rated unit.
  • Inspect power cord: Look for cuts or damage. Replace the cord if damaged.
  • Internal fuse: Open the base and locate the fuse on the PCB or near the power input. If blown, replace with the same type and rating. If it blows again, there is a deeper fault.
  • Power switch: Test the on/off switch for continuity when pressed. Replace if faulty.
  • Main PCB: If all above are good and there is still no power, replace the main control PCB.
