How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Immediately unplug the unit. Do not continue to operate until inspected.

- Check fan motor: Smell near the fan motor housing. If odor is strongest there and the motor is very hot, replace the fan motor.
- Inspect start relay: Remove the compressor start relay and check for burnt smell or discoloration. Replace if damaged.
- Board damage: If the main PCB shows burnt components, replace the board.
