How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit. Fan blades and blower wheels can be sharp.
- Remove front cover: Access the blower wheel attached to the fan motor shaft.
- Inspect blower wheel: Check if the wheel is cracked, loose on the shaft, or has missing fins. Tighten the set screw or clip if loose.
- Clear obstructions: Remove any plastic, insulation, or debris blocking the air path between the evaporator and outlet grille.
- Replace blower wheel: If the hub is stripped or the wheel is damaged, install a new "Midea blower wheel" for your model.
