Possible Causes
Empty humidifier tank, stuck humidifier float, faulty humidifier level sensor, blocked water inlet to humidifier tray
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off and unplug the unit before handling water tanks.
Steps:
- Check water level: Remove the humidifier tank and fill it to the indicated level with clean water. Reinstall firmly.
- Inspect float: Ensure the float inside the humidifier tank or tray moves freely. Clean any scale or slime.
- Check for leaks: Verify that water flows from the tank into the humidifier tray when installed. If not, the tank valve or seal may be stuck.
- Sensor check: Locate the humidifier level sensor (float switch or electrodes) in the tray. Clean mineral deposits from the electrodes or float.
- Replace: If the level sensor does not change state when water level changes, replace the humidifier level sensor assembly.
