Possible Causes
Clogged humidifier filter, low water level in tray, blocked air path through humidifier section, failed humidifier fan or pump (if equipped)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before servicing the humidifier section.
Steps:
- Check water level: Ensure the humidifier tank is full and properly seated so water flows into the tray.
- Filter: Remove and inspect the humidifier evaporative filter. Replace if hardened with scale or heavily discolored.
- Air path: Confirm that the air path through the humidifier cassette is not blocked by dust or objects.
- Fan/pump: On models with a dedicated humidifier fan or pump, verify operation. Replace the humidifier fan motor or humidifier pump if not running.
