How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before removing the control panel.
Steps:
- Drying: If the panel was exposed to moisture, leave the unit unplugged in a dry place for 24 hours and retry.
- Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the control panel and check the flat cable between the panel and main PCB. Reseat both ends.
- Check for corrosion: Look for green/white corrosion on the panel PCB. If present, the display/control PCB should be replaced.
- Replace keypad: If specific buttons never work, replace the control panel assembly.
