Steps:

Power reset: Unplug the unit for 5 minutes and plug back in to rule out a temporary logic issue.
Dry panel: If the panel is damp, allow it to dry completely. Do not spray cleaners directly onto the control panel.
Check cable: Open the top/front cover and ensure the ribbon cable from the keypad to the main PCB is firmly connected.
