Possible Causes
Blown internal fuse on main PCB, Faulty power cord or plug, Failed SMPS (switch-mode power supply) on control board, Defective main power switch
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before opening. If you are not comfortable working with mains voltage, contact a technician.
Steps:
- Check outlet: Test the wall outlet with another appliance. Reset any tripped breakers.
- Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, burns, or kinks. If damaged, replace the cord set.
- Check main switch: Ensure the main power switch (if present) is in the ON position and not loose or broken.
- Internal fuse: Remove the rear or side cover to access the main PCB. Locate the fuse (usually glass or ceramic). If blown, replace with the same rating. If it blows again immediately, there is a deeper fault.
- PCB power supply: If the fuse is good but there is still no display, the low-voltage power supply on the PCB may have failed. Replace the main control PCB.
