Possible Causes
Stuck float in tank, Misaligned tank not engaging switch, Faulty tank full microswitch or reed switch, Broken float magnet
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Steps:
- Clean and inspect float: Remove the tank and clean the float mechanism thoroughly. Ensure it moves freely and is not waterlogged.
- Check tank position: Reinsert the tank firmly. Some Olimpia Splendid models require a precise fit to depress the tank switch.
- Test switch: With the unit unplugged and tank removed, manually operate the tank switch (usually a small lever or button) and check continuity with a multimeter. Replace the switch if it does not change state.
- Replace float assembly: If the magnet is missing or the float is damaged, replace the float assembly.
