- Inspect for damage: Look for pinched, cut, or burnt sections of the cable. Replace the cable if any damage is found.
- Check for moisture: If the unit has been used in very damp conditions, inspect the display PCB for signs of condensation or corrosion. Allow it to dry completely and clean light corrosion with isopropyl alcohol.
- Board substitution: If possible, test with a known-good display board or main board. If E6 persists with a good cable, one of the boards is defective and must be replaced.
