Possible Causes

Water tank actually full, Tank not seated correctly, Faulty tank full switch or float, Debris preventing float from dropping

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Steps:

  • Empty the tank: Turn off and unplug the unit. Remove the water tank, empty it, and rinse with clean water.
  • Clean float area: If the tank has an internal float, clean any slime or mineral deposits that may cause it to stick in the "full" position.
  • Reinstall tank properly: Slide the tank back in firmly until it clicks or sits flush. Many Olimpia Splendid models will show P2 if the tank is slightly misaligned.
  • Check for leaks: Ensure the tank is not cracked and that any drain plugs are properly seated.
  • Float switch check: If P2 remains with an empty, correctly seated tank, inspect and test the float switch assembly as described for E5.
