Dehumidifier display works but buttons do not respond or respond intermittently

Safety: Unplug before removing the control panel.

Steps:

• Dry the panel: If recently cleaned with liquid, allow it to dry completely.
• Access keypad: Remove the top/front cover to expose the keypad and ribbon cable.
• Reseat cable: Disconnect and reconnect the ribbon cable to ensure good contact.
• Inspect for corrosion: Look for green/white deposits on connectors; clean with contact cleaner.
• Replace keypad/UI board: If specific buttons never work, replace the keypad membrane or UI PCB.
