Safety: Unplug the unit before any disassembly. If you are not experienced with mains voltage, seek professional help.

Steps:

Check outlet: Test the wall socket with another appliance to confirm power is available.
Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, burns, or kinks. Replace the cord if damaged.
Try power button: Press and hold the power key for a few seconds; some models require a long press.
Open control compartment: Remove the cover to access the main PCB. Locate the input fuse near where the cord connects.
Test/replace fuse: With a multimeter, check continuity of the fuse. If blown, replace with the same type and rating. If it blows again immediately, there is a deeper fault.
Inspect PCB: Look for burnt components or cracked solder joints in the power supply area. If found, the main board should be replaced.
