Possible Causes
Failed ultrasonic ceramic disc, Mineral scaling on transducer, Damaged transducer wiring, Faulty driver circuit on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the humidifier and empty the tank before working on the base.
Steps:
- Descale the transducer: In the water basin, locate the round metal/ceramic disc. Gently clean mineral deposits using a cotton swab dipped in white vinegar, then wipe with clean water. Do not scratch the surface.
- Check water level: Ensure the basin has sufficient water; some models protect the transducer when water is too low.
- Inspect wiring: Open the base (if screws are provided) and check the transducer wires and connector to the PCB.
- Replace transducer module: If H2 persists and the disc shows cracks or heavy pitting, replace the ultrasonic transducer module with an Orbegozo-compatible part.
- PCB driver fault: If a new transducer does not work, the high-frequency driver circuit on the PCB may be defective and require board replacement.
