Possible Causes
Failed mini water pump, Blocked water channel, Airlock in pump, Faulty flow sensor or reed switch
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the humidifier and remove the water tank.
Steps:
- Check water path: Inspect the water outlet from the tank and the inlet to the base for blockages or scale. Clean with a soft brush.
- Prime the pump: For models with a visible pump, fill the basin and gently tilt the unit to help remove air bubbles from the pump.
- Inspect pump wiring: Open the base and check the small pump's wires and connector.
- Test pump operation: With the base open and great caution (live voltage), a technician can check if the pump receives power when the unit runs. If not comfortable, skip this step.
- Replace pump or flow sensor: If the pump does not run or the flow sensor does not detect movement, replace the faulty component with an Orbegozo-compatible part.
