Possible Causes

Blocked internal drain channel, Faulty float switch in internal sump, Kinked drain hose (for continuous drain models), Defective water level sensor wiring

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the unit before tilting or opening panels.

Steps:

  • Check external tank: Ensure the main water tank is correctly seated. Remove and reinsert firmly.
  • Inspect continuous drain setup: If using a hose, make sure it slopes downward with no kinks or clogs. Flush the hose with water.
  • Clean internal drain path: Remove the water tank and look for the small drain outlet. Use a flexible brush or pipe cleaner to remove slime or debris.
  • Access internal sump: On some Orbegozo models, you can remove the lower front panel to reach the internal float chamber. Clean any sludge or mold.
  • Check float switch: Verify that the float moves freely and that its switch clicks when moved. Inspect wiring for damage.
  • Replace float switch: If the switch is stuck or electrically open/shorted, replace it with an Orbegozo-compatible float level switch.
