Possible Causes
Full water tank, Misaligned tank, Faulty tank full micro-switch, Broken tank actuator tab
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off and unplug before removing the tank.
Steps:
- Empty the tank: Remove the water tank, empty it completely, rinse, and reinstall.
- Check tank position: Ensure the tank slides fully into place and engages the internal switch lever.
- Inspect actuator: Look for a broken plastic tab or magnet on the tank that triggers the full-tank switch or sensor. Replace the tank if the actuator is damaged.
- Locate tank switch: Behind the tank opening, find the micro-switch or reed sensor. Press it gently with a tool to see if the P2 code clears when the unit is powered (use caution and avoid live contacts).
- Replace switch: If the switch does not click mechanically or tests faulty with a multimeter, replace it with the correct Orbegozo tank full switch.
