• Clean filter: Remove and wash the air filter with mild soap and water. Dry completely before reinstalling.
• Clean coils: Gently brush and vacuum dust from both evaporator and condenser coils. Avoid bending fins.
• Check fan speed: Ensure the fan runs at full speed and does not slow down unexpectedly. Replace the fan motor if weak.
• Inspect air seals: Check internal foam seals and ducting for gaps that allow air to bypass the evaporator. Reseat or replace seals as needed.
