How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the unit.

  • Inspect buttons: Check for any button that feels stuck or does not click. Clean around the buttons with a soft cloth.
  • Reset: Leave unplugged for 10 minutes, then reconnect and test.
  • Check ribbon cable: Remove the control panel cover and reseat the ribbon cable between the keypad and main PCB.
  • Replace control panel: If E1 persists and buttons are unresponsive, replace the control panel/keypad assembly or the display PCB as a unit.
