Possible Causes
Loose wiring harness between display PCB and main control PCB, Failed display (operation) PCB, Failed main control PCB, Oxidized or damaged connector pins
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dehumidifier from the wall outlet before removing any covers. Do not work on live circuits.
- Power reset: Disconnect power for 5–10 minutes, then plug back in and try to start the unit. Sometimes H11 is a transient communication fault.
- Check control panel cable: Remove the front panel to access the display/operation PCB. Locate the low‑voltage harness that runs from the display PCB to the main control PCB (often at the side or rear). Reseat both ends of the connector firmly.
- Inspect for damage: Look for pinched, cut, or chewed wires, and for corrosion on the connector pins. Clean light oxidation with contact cleaner and a soft brush.
- Check continuity: With a multimeter (power still unplugged), test continuity of each conductor in the harness between the display PCB and main PCB. Replace the harness if any conductor is open.
- If H11 persists: The fault is usually on the display PCB or main control PCB. Replacement of one or both boards is required; this is best done by a qualified technician to avoid miswiring and ESD damage.
