How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before servicing.
- Check fan operation: With the unit assembled, start it and observe fan behavior. Erratic speed, pulsing, or no start followed by H19 points to a motor or driver issue.
- Inspect connector: Unplug the unit, remove the cover, and locate the multi‑wire connector from the fan motor to the main PCB. Reseat and inspect for bent pins.
- Check for moisture damage: Look for signs of condensation or water ingress around the fan motor and connector. Dry thoroughly and correct any drainage issues.
- Replace fan motor: If the motor does not start reliably or shows visible damage, replace with a Panasonic‑compatible DC fan motor assembly.
- If problem persists: The main PCB’s fan driver circuit may be faulty and require board replacement.
