Possible Causes

Blocked condensate pump, Failed pump motor, Clogged pump discharge hose, Faulty pump float switch

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the unit. Water may spill when hoses are removed.

  • Check hoses: Inspect the pump discharge hose for kinks, clogs, or ice (in cold environments). Clear or replace as needed.
  • Clean pump reservoir: Access the internal pump tray. Remove debris, slime, and scale that can jam the pump or float.
  • Test pump float: Manually lift the pump float. You should hear a click from the switch. If not, or if the float sticks, clean or replace the float/switch assembly.
  • Power test (caution): With covers in place and hands clear, plug in and start the unit. When water accumulates, listen for the pump running. No sound indicates a failed pump motor or control.
  • Replace pump assembly: If the motor is open or seized, install a Panasonic‑compatible condensate pump module and reconnect hoses securely.
