Safety first: Unplug the unit.

Dry the panel: If the panel has been exposed to moisture, allow it to dry completely. Do not use the unit in dripping or high‑spray areas.
Clean surface: Wipe the control panel with a dry, soft cloth to remove grime that may jam buttons.
Reseat ribbon cable: Remove the control panel cover and reseat the ribbon cable between the keypad and main PCB.
Replace keypad/display: If specific buttons never work or the panel is physically damaged, replace the control panel or display PCB assembly.

Unit powers on but buttons do not respond or respond intermittently.
