Possible Causes
Clogged internal drain channel, Misaligned water tank, Cracked water bucket, Improperly installed continuous drain hose
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit. Dry any spilled water to avoid slipping and electrical hazards.
- Inspect tank: Remove the water tank and check for cracks or overfilling. Replace if damaged.
- Clean drain channel: Look into the area where water drips from the evaporator into the tank. Remove debris and slime with a soft brush and warm soapy water.
- Check drain hose: If using continuous drainage, ensure the hose is firmly attached, slopes downward continuously, and is not kinked or blocked.
If internal plastic channels are cracked, they may need sealing or replacement by a technician.
