Possible Causes
Misaligned water tank, Stuck float or magnet, Faulty bucket full micro-switch or reed switch, Broken tank detection bracket
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug before adjusting the tank or switches.
- Reseat tank: Remove and reinstall the water tank firmly, ensuring it is fully inserted and level.
- Check float/magnet: Inspect the float in the tank or the magnet used for detection. Clean any slime or debris and ensure free movement.
- Inspect switch: Locate the bucket full switch in the tank compartment. Verify that the tank properly actuates it when inserted.
If the switch is mechanically broken or does not change state when pressed, it should be replaced. This is a low-voltage part but may require disassembly of the chassis.
