Possible Causes
Blown internal fuse on main PCB, Faulty power cord, Failed power supply section of main control board, Defective on/off switch or touch panel
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before opening any panels. If you are not comfortable working with mains voltage, seek professional help.
Steps to troubleshoot no power:
- Check outlet: Test the wall outlet with another appliance. Reset any tripped breakers or GFCI outlets.
- Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, kinks, or burn marks. If damaged, replace the power cord set with a compatible Pro Breeze part.
- Access main PCB: Remove the rear or side panel to expose the main control PCB. Locate the input fuse (usually a small glass or ceramic fuse).
- Test fuse: With a multimeter, check continuity across the fuse. If blown, replace with the same rating. If it blows again immediately, there is a deeper fault in the power supply or compressor circuit.
- Inspect for burnt components: Look for scorched areas on the PCB. If present, replace the entire main control PCB.
- Check power switch / touch panel: On models with a mechanical switch, test continuity when switched on. Replace the power switch or touch control panel if it does not function.
