• Inspect fan assembly: Remove the rear or side panel to access the fan blade or blower wheel. Check for cracks, missing pieces, or looseness on the motor shaft. Tighten the set screw or replace the wheel if damaged.
• Check fan motor: Spin the fan by hand; if you feel roughness or hear grinding, replace the fan motor assembly.
• Compressor mounts: Verify the compressor mounting grommets are intact and not hardened or missing. Replace compressor mounting grommets if the compressor is rattling against the base.
