• Inspect sensor placement: Ensure the humidity sensor module is in the intake air stream and not tucked inside the cabinet where it reads drier air.
• Check sensor connection: Access the control area and verify the sensor harness is connected securely.
• Replace sensor: If the unit consistently reads higher humidity than actual, replace the humidity sensor module.
• Control board: If a new sensor does not correct the issue, the main control PCB may not be responding correctly to sensor input and may need replacement.
