Possible Causes
Unbalanced fan blade or blower wheel, Bent fan shaft, Loose compressor mounts, Unit not level
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug before inspecting moving parts.
Steps to correct vibration:
- Level the unit: Place the dehumidifier on a flat, level surface. Adjust feet if provided.
- Inspect fan balance: Access the fan assembly and check for missing pieces or buildup on one side of the fan blade or blower wheel. Clean off any debris.
- Check for wobble: Spin the fan and observe for wobbling. If the wheel is warped or the shaft is bent, replace the fan motor assembly and/or blower wheel.
- Compressor mounts: Inspect the rubber grommets under the compressor. Replace if cracked or missing to reduce transmitted vibration.
