Possible Causes
Air filter clogged with dust, Restricted air intake or exhaust, Dust buildup on evaporator coil fins
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: CF on many Pro Breeze models is a maintenance reminder, not a fault.
Steps to clear CF:
- Remove and clean filter: Slide out the air filter from the intake grille. Wash with mild soap and warm water, rinse thoroughly, and allow to dry completely before reinstalling.
- Vacuum grilles: Use a vacuum with a brush attachment to clean the intake and exhaust grilles.
- Inspect coil: If accessible, gently brush or vacuum dust from the front of the evaporator coil fins. Do not bend the fins.
- Reset indicator: Refer to your model’s manual; typically, press and hold the Filter or Timer button for 3–5 seconds to reset the CF indicator.
