Possible Causes
Stuck or misaligned internal float, Faulty electronic water level sensor, Debris in water collection tray, Damaged float switch wiring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit and remove the water tank before inspection.
Steps to resolve F2:
- Clean the tank and tray: Remove the water tank and clean it thoroughly. Inspect the internal water collection tray for slime, scale, or debris that could jam the float.
- Locate the internal float: Inside the tank compartment or tray, find the water level float that moves up and down with water level.
- Check float movement: Manually move the float through its full range. It should move freely and return under its own weight or spring tension.
- Inspect float switch: Identify the float switch or sensor (mechanical microswitch or magnetic reed). Check wiring for damage and ensure the connector is secure on the PCB.
- Test the switch: If you have a multimeter, test continuity while moving the float. Replace the switch if it does not change state.
- Replace float assembly: If the float is waterlogged, cracked, or deformed, replace the Pro Breeze water level float and switch assembly.
