Humidifier function produces very little mist or output is greatly reduced.

Steps to improve humidifier output:

• Use distilled water: Switch to distilled or demineralized water to reduce scale buildup.
• Clean transducer and reservoir: Remove the tank and clean the reservoir and ultrasonic transducer disc with a vinegar solution. Rinse thoroughly.
• Check mist outlet: Inspect the mist outlet for dust or mineral deposits and clean with a soft brush.
• Verify fan operation: Ensure the internal fan that carries mist out of the unit is running. If not, inspect and replace the humidifier fan motor if present.
