Pure Enrichment dehumidifier displays E3 and shuts down or never starts dehumidifying.

Safety: Unplug the unit before opening the cabinet. Do not spray liquids directly into the control panel.

• Basic reset: Unplug for 10 minutes, then plug back in. Try changing the humidity setpoint and fan speed to see if E3 clears.
• Check for obstruction: Ensure the air intake and filter are clean. A blocked intake can cause abnormal humidity readings.
• Locate humidity sensor: Remove the front grille or control panel bezel. The humidity sensor is usually a small plastic module with vent holes, mounted near the air intake or behind the control panel, connected by a small harness.
• Inspect and clean: Gently blow dust off the sensor with compressed air or a soft brush. Do not use water or cleaning chemicals on the sensor element.
• Check connector: Make sure the humidity sensor plug is fully seated on the control board and that the wires are not broken or pinched.
• Replace sensor: If E3 persists, replace the humidity sensor module with a Pure Enrichment–compatible part. Disconnect the old sensor, mount the new one in the same location, and reconnect the harness.
• Control board check: If a new sensor does not resolve E3, the main control PCB may be defective and require replacement.
