How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the humidifier before inspecting or tightening any parts.
- Check placement: Move the unit to a solid, level surface. Place a soft mat or towel under it to dampen vibration and retest.
- Inspect fan area: Look through the vents for any foreign objects contacting the fan. If accessible, remove the bottom or rear cover and ensure the fan blades are clean and not rubbing against the housing.
- Tighten screws: Gently tighten any accessible screws on the base and housing that may have loosened over time.
- Descale transducer: Clean the ultrasonic transducer disc with vinegar solution to remove heavy scale that can cause buzzing.
- Fan replacement: If the fan motor is noisy due to worn bearings, replace the fan motor assembly with a Pure Enrichment–compatible part.
