Possible Causes
Failed AC adapter (for low-voltage models), Blown internal fuse on main PCB, Faulty power button or control PCB, Loose DC barrel jack or power connector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug from the wall before inspecting cords or opening the base. Do not attempt repairs if you are not comfortable working around mains voltage.
- Check outlet: Test the wall outlet with another device to confirm it has power.
- Inspect power adapter: For models using an external adapter, check for damage to the cord and plug. If available, test with a compatible replacement adapter that matches the voltage and current rating.
- Check power connection: Ensure the DC plug is fully inserted into the humidifier’s power jack and not loose.
- Internal fuse: On some models, an internal fuse on the main PCB may blow. If you open the base (unplugged) and locate a small glass or surface-mount fuse, test it with a multimeter and replace with the same rating if open.
- Control PCB: If the adapter and fuse are good but there is still no response, the main control PCB or power button assembly may have failed. Replacement of the PCB with a Pure Enrichment–specific part is required; otherwise, replacement of the unit is recommended.
