Possible Causes
Humidity sensor blocked by mist outlet, Sensor contaminated with dust or moisture, Unit placed too close to walls or windows, Faulty humidity sensor module
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before accessing internal sensors.
- Relocate unit: Place the humidifier in a more central location away from direct mist contact with the sensor, walls, or windows.
- Clean sensor area: If the humidity sensor is accessible (small vented module near air intake), gently blow dust away with compressed air or a soft brush.
- Compare with external hygrometer: Use a separate hygrometer to check actual room humidity and compare with the unit’s reading.
- Replace sensor: If readings are consistently inaccurate by a large margin, replace the humidity sensor module with a Pure Enrichment–compatible part.
