How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the humidifier before opening the control panel. Avoid static discharge to electronic components.
- Dry out moisture: If the control panel was splashed, unplug the unit and let it dry in a warm, dry room for 24 hours. Do not use a hair dryer directly on the panel.
- Clean around buttons: Wipe the control surface with a slightly damp cloth and then dry. Do not allow liquid to seep into the seams.
- Inspect internal connections: If accessible, remove the top cover and check the ribbon cable or harness between the keypad board and main PCB. Reseat connectors firmly.
- Test individual buttons: With the unit reassembled and powered, test each button. If some buttons never respond, the keypad board may be defective.
- Replace keypad/control PCB: Order the correct control panel or PCB for your Pure Enrichment model. Swap the board, transferring any gaskets or light pipes, and reconnect all cables.
