Possible Causes
Blown mains fuse in plug, Faulty power cord, Failed internal thermal fuse on power board, Defective main control PCB power supply section
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before any inspection. If you are not comfortable working with mains voltage, consult a qualified technician.
Steps:
- Check wall outlet: Test the socket with another appliance to confirm it has power.
- Inspect plug fuse (UK models): Open the plug and check the cartridge fuse. Replace with the same rating if blown.
- Examine power cord: Look for cuts, kinks, or burn marks. If damaged, replace the power cord set.
- Internal fuse: Remove the outer cover and locate the internal fuse or thermal fuse on the power input or PCB. Test with a multimeter and replace with the same type and rating if open.
- Power supply on PCB: If fuses and cord are good but there is still no power, the low‑voltage power supply on the main control PCB may have failed. Replace the PCB.
